Teaching Statement: "I find it really inspiring to work with actors in a classroom setting, away from the hustle of the business, where we can take our time and immerse ourselves in the material and come at the work organically and simply rather than the rushing to results that so often happens on set or in production. It's really important for actors to get up and work every week from wherever they are at in the rehearsal process. I find it really exciting to get to know actors and figure out their patterns and blocks that keep them from opening up and sharing themselves in their work. So often a breakthrough in the microcosm of class leads to a breakthrough in the macrocosm of a career and a life".
